Susan Holihan
Susan Holihan is teaches language arts, journalism and photography at Mount Si High School in Snoqualmie, Wash.  She has advised Cat Tales newspaper since 2001 and Tenas Coma yearbook since 2003.  Holihan has been involved in scholastic journalism almost continuously since her senior year in high school, when she was the news editor of The Lexington at Juanita High School. She loves helping students find their voice and help shape their school community, and she is just as proud as the personal growth her students experience in her classes as she is of the many awards they have won and the publications they produce.

She is a graduate of Albion College and received her Masters in Teaching from Seattle University. Holihan is a Certified Journalism Educator, and a member of the Journalism Education Association and the Washington Journalism Education Association.

In addition to scholastic journalism, Holihan is passionate about Star Wars, Harry Potter, her family and nearly all things Disney.
